It's fun participating in the Saturday Photo Scavenger Hunt that is being hosted by tnchick. This week's photo hunt theme is: LOST. if you would like to play along click on the link below.
Just The Two of Us
Took our family, all seven of us, up to Wisconsin
for our parents 50th Anniversary last year.
On this particular day we went to Cave of the Mounds.
It was wonderful, and yet with so many tunnels
we could easily have gotten lost. lol
The first photo looks like something may have
swallowed us...

but then phew, there we are, all safe and sound!
Note: Both pics were taken in the cave.

How fun. I bet it would be easy to get lost. I love the autumn background on your page. It makes me want to drink some hot apple cider.

Hi Pamela ~ Great photo inside the cave and glad you all had a good time.
Thanks for your comments on Deck of Cards. Glad your son is no longer in Iraq. Thanks for your kind words, I try to find nice things to post. Strange about our weather and yours
being so opposite. Let's hope we all survive. Take care Pamela, Love, Merle.

I love caves. We have a lot here in the Black Hills but I haven't been in any yet...after seeing your photos we have to do it before the next snowfall!

My photos are finally up!

I always hate it when you go to visit a cave and they decide to turn the lights out to show you just how dark it could be...don't like that a bit, I don't!!!
:-D

These are great photos for the Lost theme, Pamela. First one is scary looking, though! I didn't participate this week. I couldn't come up with a single thing that fit the theme.

Great "Lost" photo. Aren't caves fun to explore? We did some caving this summer and had a blast. Of course, we weren't allowed to venture off, but it was still fun.

I love your teddy bear at the bottom.

Great Pictures. However - I don't do caves. When we went camping we went into one little tiny cave (I thought I'd be brave and join the group) and on the way out I smacked my head on the cave roof and bled all over the place scaring my poor little granddaughter to death. When it came to the second cave, which was much deeper, I opted out (I hate closed in places). I waited outside for them. It didn't take long. My daughter-in-law spotted a bat and they (my family not the bats) all came flying out of that cave. So I apprectiate your pictures because that's the closest I ever hope to get to being in a cave.

First things first...I'm glad it was you guys in that cave and not ME!!!! lol I think I would panic in there! What terrific pictures, though, and just love the one of you and your family:-) Hugs xoxo

I really enjoy US caves. I haven't been to that one though.
Ontario, Canada only has a few small cave sights.

Great photo!

My favourite cave is Lost Sea in Sweetwater Tennessee
