Just the two of us both delighted in pleasing our taste buds
with this delicious and colorfully arranged Chef's salad,
we had at a Club House that friends belong to,
when I took the pic, the Chef came out,
I think he thought I was a food critic...it was so funny!

WOw, I paid 2.40 something today when I filled up.
I'll post in my post today that you're playing. If you want to be added to the blogroll you'll need to follow the directions on the hunt page to add teh hunt to your sidebar.
Eh, sorry, I see you already done that and am adding you now.
gas is outrageous these days! Luckily, I fill my car up once a month. It's nice living less than a mile from work!
Come on over to France - we pay twice that much for gas! ;-)
Welcome to the Saturday Hunt!
We're at $2.75 here in Baltimore, MD...I do hope they continue to drop. Take care. Dani
That sure makes being on the road an expensive outing! :)
Good photo!
Happy Saturday.
Drop by, My Photo is up.
Hmmmmm, I read that where I live it's some of the 'cheapest' in the country. We're paying $2.35.
Mine's posted.
Gas prices... the downside of road trips :(
Welcome to the photo hunt game :) I posted too.
The price we pay for convenience.
Welcome to PSH.
Mine's up.
♥Pam
We pay about the same for gas here in Seattle. My least favorite part about being on the road, fortunately the motorcycle only holds six gallons! ;-)
Gas prices are depressing. I'm thankful I do not live in New York or California, as I understand they have the highest prices in the country.
Yeah - gas prices are insane. Ours range from $2.60-$3.10 in AZ.
Welcome to the photo hunt bunch :)
I don't know how to do the translation from cents/litre, but I notice gas prices have been dropping lately. And we get weird variations in price from city to city, as well. Anyway, gas prices are a great take on the theme for this week.
My photo is up too.
It's so wierd how much gas prices have dropped!
Hi Pamela,
Gas prices dropped here too! $2.77 gal. As I mentioned in one of my posts, we're only about 5 miles from several refineries, so there's no reason we should be among the highest!
Our prices have finally come down to under 2.70. Hope they keep going down. Nice pic.
Clever! I didn't participate this week because I couldn't come up with a photo that worked. And now I'm seeing what all of you came up with. Wouldn't it be nice if you post another photo like this sometime soon with those prices slashed about in half?
Gas prices have been coming down here this week a little bit ... naturally after my trip to chicago that cost us about $200 bucks in gas!
We need to start using some of the alternatives that are available.
That was the price when we first moved to California, last year!! hehe!
Great shot!
I just hate the price of gas right now and have to wonder how they get away with it with the profits that are being made! Ah, well.
Thanks for visiting me!
Today the Arco down the street is 2.87! Oh come on gaz people, who do you think you're kidding!?!?!?!?
I do wonder where it's going to end... It's expensive here in Sweden too.
funny thing is that gas is cheap in the US compared to Canada and Europe... Great Road theme! thanks for the visit.
no you're not talking to yourself.

Pamela, hi, I'm so glad you hopped on over to my site. I've been offline for about a week -- not feeling well but also trying to recover from too much company. Husband is involved in several projects and I've been trying to help him out a little. He's been doing all the really hard stuff and I've just been giving him the business about the right way to do it (just kidding).
As a way of making husband feel loved, I decided to make him this apple pie and served it slightly warm with vanilla ice cream. He was humming to himself while he ate two helpings.
Hope you have a great Sunday.
Uugh...gas prices! I think we're about 2.79 here too...but that is quite a difference in prices down the road from each other!
Gas is cheap around here lately. Less than 80 cents a litre (I'm not sure how that relates to gallons).
Thanks for stopping by mine :)
Hi Pamela,
We find the same thing here. What surprises me is all the people I see filling up at the more expensively priced gas station when it's cheaper about a mile or so down the road!!
The blogger book is very helpful. However, I do still have some major questions. I'm finding that fellow bloggers are the most helpful of all - and so kind and patient about explaining things. For instance, I still need to figure out how to do a blog roll and how to participate in these special things and linking. I've had some great help with that - I just have to be smart enough to apply it. I look at some of this stuff and my eyes cross. I feel like I'm back in Algebra class again where I felt like they were speaking a foreign language I simply could not understand. I'm going to keep trying.
I came here yesterday, but I don't the the commenting worked for me -- I'll try again! There's been an awful lot of fluctuation in gas prices here too.
Thanks for commenting on my site! Home of Pass the Torch Tuesday
"WOW" try buying it in uk.He!He!He!. Liked reading through it nice posting.Wish you well
Thanks for your recent visits to "My Quiet Corner" and for commenting!! Please know you are welcome anytime!!
And as for gas prices.... now that's another whole story. Someone was recently saying they heard that prices were supposed to be dropping to around $2.00/ gallon and we were getting excited. How pathetic...
Love the prices. Good Picture!
Great post! Welcome to the Scavenger Hunt.
Gas prices are outrageous...but, we just keep on drivin' don't we?
Great take on this week's theme. I am glad to see that the prices are dropping. I was telling my husband that it is a shame to get excited over paying only $2.50 per gallon, since we have paid nearly $3pg for so long.
Gas has dropped a little lately here in middle Tennessee...I think it was $2.59 at Kroger's yesterday.
Nice choice of photo for the PH theme!
