Photo Hunt ~ Theme: BROKEN myspace layouts, myspace codes, glitter graphics myspace layouts, myspace codes, glitter graphics

It is fun to participate in the Saturday Photo Hunt that
is hosted by tnchick.
This week's photo hunt theme is: BROKEN
. If you would like to play along click on the link below.

Just The Two of Us
remember how broken up my Dad would be when
the squirrels would be able to get to his birdseed no
matter what he did to the pole, or what type of plate
he would attach under the feeder.
They are such smart little guys
and so flexible, if you or I would try some of those
stunts, we'd surely have broken our backs.
It almost looks like the squirrels have
broken the law of physics!

So it's just the two of us grateful that neither
one of us
has ever broken a bone.

Looking forward to the arrival of our new
little baby granddaughter
who is now overdue and sure that no one would be
broken hearted
if she would decide to make an entrance
into the world anyday.

Hoping your hearts are filled with happiness
and that no one is left with a broken heart

this Valentine's Day!

Once again, sharing a few
Valentines that belonged
to my grandmother...

The valentines are great!!

Squirrel's are very very smart!! I love to watch them, tho... however, my Beagle isn't fond of them! =)

I've yet to break a bone, too... I hope I will always be able to say that!

Hi Pamela ~~ Nice post about those clever little squirrels and the lovely cards from the past.
I hope that little grand-daughter arrives soon to be loved by so many.
Lucky you and Hubby never to have broken a bone - I broke a wrist years ago which made life difficult.
Tank you for your visit and kind words,
sorry about all my woes, and yes, John getting me out of there helped.
Take care, Pamela, Love, Merle.

Those Valentines are so sweet! And you had some great thoughts about broken things. So far no one in the family has had a broken bone -- except my middle son once had a minor hairline fracture of one toe from stubbing it on the stairs.

Thanks for visiting!

Whoaw! Those are some pretty cool squirrels! Those valentines are awesome too, I suddenly felt nostalgic for those grade school days when we would give and recieve those kinds of valetine's greetings. Hope you have a lovely Valetine's week! Thanks for visiting, happy hunting :)

You could make a career out of this! I gave up along time ago, and just feed the squirrels.

Hi Pamela. Great photos. I've seen the acrobatic antics of squirrels on TV and I'm very impressed.

I hope that your granddaughter will come to the world soon.

Thank you for your beautiful Valentine's Day wishes.

Happy weekend!

Those pesky squirrels have kept many people busy trying to deter them.

You might say the squirrels are burglars who have "broken" in to the feeders. Cute pictures!!

I love the valentines you've been sharing.

That is just too funny...squirrels certainly are very creative critters and will try anything to get to the seeds! lol I am so enjoying all your vintage valentines!! Hugs xox

Oh yes! Squirrels are QUITE creative about getting around OUR creative methods of keeping them out! I used to hang our birdfeeders from the kids monkey bars out on the playground ... but eventually they did figure out how to cross over the top and hang by their little feet to get to it! Now I've taken to hanging them on my front porch - under the eaves... THUS far they have not figured out a way! And I love it because I can watch the birds whenever I'm sitting at my computer! ;)

This was a great post for today!

I love the video of the squirrel trying to climb the greased pole. It just has to be high enough... but then it is too high to reach to fill...

Those squirrels remind me of my Annie. She is always doing acrobatic moves from every piece of furniture in the house. I love these valentines and your clever use of "broken" throughout the post. Have a great weekend!

Love all your vintage valentines!
Squirrels can be a real nuisance when they attack the birdfeeders. They tend to really ruin our fruit and vegetables. Cute, but not fun to have in the garden area!

I can't tell you the things my own dad (he's 82 now) has tried for years and years to keep squirrels out of his bird feeders. He finally gave up and decided to call them his squirrel feeders. I'm so proud of him! He's happier and the squirrels are delirious with happiness. :-)
