Guess it is time to get back to the normal order of daily living. I have been so caught up with this bloggy thing that now that my eyes have focused in again it is, *shocking* hee hee..."this couldn't be my house", oh yea, I need to get caught up with all the little things around the house before they get away from me, namely the laundry, which tends to pile up on me before I can turn around. grrrr! From time to time, it can get so bad that when my dog Shivan comes into (he's a little black and white shih-tsu by the way) the laundry room, I giggle and tell him what a brave boy he is...now the rest of my house looks pretty good, most always. Its funny too, I am not really that critical of other peoples homes, it's just me, I can't stand it when the house looks bad and there's nothing like a clean house to come home to.
Now that it is just the two of us things are so much easier, and my hubby still appreciates having something to wear to work so rather than drown in pity over having to do laundry, I guess we will just have to keep our chins up and get her done.
I blame all this on my Mom, cause in all honesty I have never met anyone who cleans like she does and especially when I was a kid. It was actually a desease with her and I mean that in the kindest way, but when I was little, I would come home from school and she would have a string strung up blocking off one of the rooms because she had just finished cleaning the carpet with a toothbrush! Yes, I kid you not! For years, I wouldn't tell anyone it was so embarrassing but now, I just laugh it is so funny. She still keeps a spotless home, but she is so envolved with her church and friends that it just isn't the focus of her life anymore, thank goodness.
